I've been chasing after a Boston-qualifying marathon time for a few years now. After a pretty disappointing finish in the Garmin Marathon in the Spring of 2018 I took some time away from racing to work on my fitness and build up to a race in early 2019. After joining KC Endurance in September of 2018 I began to notice serious gains in my speed and fitness. I set my sights on the Phoenix-Mesa marathon in February of 2019, and set a ~20 minute P.R. with a time of 2:57:40.
